Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for talented Principal Architect/Technical Manager to join our award-winning team based in Qatar.
We envisage success in this role to include:
– Lead the architectural design process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and innovative design solutions
– Oversee and manage technical aspects of architectural projects, including design development, construction documentation, and specifications
– Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors
– Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards throughout the project lifecycle
– Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations, and translate them into effective design solutions
– Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent and specifications
– Coordinate with other project managers and consultants to ensure seamless integration of architectural and engineering elements
– Review and approve architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
– Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
– Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to design and construction challenges
– Lead and mentor junior architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
– Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in design and construction processes
– Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and project updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management
– Ensure effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders to achieve project objectives and deliverables
Requirements:
Qualifications
– To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 25 years of broad-based experience in a architecture role, preferably in the region.
– Experience in Microsoft Office, Primavera and Microsoft Project applications and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering is essential.
