As a Tapster you will:
• Perform reconciliations between Internal systems, Payment Gateways and Banks
• Ensure Refunds/Chargebacks are processed on time. Collaborate and maintain a healthy relationship with the Acquirer Bank (s) for timely processing
• Conduct Internal Controls review and reconciliation between the sales captured on the Operation System against the payment gateways to identify the range/level of difference
• Execute Internal Controls and reviews of existing and new merchants onboarded within Tap from a Finance perspective to avoid probable Monetary issues
• Act as a Liaison between the merchants and the acquirer banks and various functional departments within the firm
• Participate in meetings and discussions on collaboration, processes, technical front and implement best practices
• Comply with the Internal Finance Operating procedures and rules and regulations
• Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role
What you will bring to the party:
• 4-6 years of role-specific experience in Financial Services/Fintech/High-Growth Startups
• Degree in business management or finance.
• Real-world experience is also accepted.
• Ability to establish credibility and internal relationships
• Understanding of client/merchant/stakeholder care
• Awareness of how your role supports the business
• Enthusiasm for working in a growing fintech
• Ability to work in a team and follow daily tasks
• Skills and knowledge to actively participate in meetings
• Ability to deliver work on time
• Problem-solving and quick-thinking skills
• Ability to organize information and ask relevant questions
• Strong communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability
