We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Captain to join our team in Oman. The Food and Beverage Captain will be responsible for overseeing the service and operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage team, including waitstaff, bartenders, and other service personnel.
– Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction are met and exceeded.
– Train and mentor new staff members, providing guidance on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
– Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage offerings, and assist with recommendations and upselling.
– Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest and the establishment.
– Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, bars, and service stations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, while managing costs and waste to maximize profitability.
– Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality, efficiency, and overall guest experience.
– Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, review performance, and foster a positive and motivated work environment.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
– In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, menu offerings, and industry trends.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
– Certification or training in food safety and hygiene practices is preferred.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.

Salary:
OMR 450 to 500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
