Raffles Al Areen Palace in Bahrain is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sales Manager Saudi Arabia Market. As a luxury resort, we are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and has a proven track record of exceeding targets in the Saudi Arabia region.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Saudi Arabia market
– Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the Saudi Arabia region
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives
– Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
– Positively communicate the hotel image to existing and potential customer at all times.
– Ensure that revenues and / or cost controls are maximized through proactive actions rather than reactive management.
– Report on trends in the industry and local markets.
– Maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines and planned sales trips.
– Maintain accurate information on all new and on-going leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts.
– Establishes and sign contracts considering the official Rate Policy in co-ordination with the DOSM.
– Special deals (out of guidelines and rate policy) must in any case be discussed, co-ordinated and approved prior to offer with the hotel’s management.
– Be the one point contact from the Sales team with the external client he/she is dealing with and handle responsively any escalations relating to the concerned client.
– Ensure that targets set by the hotel are met consistently.
– Thoroughly familiarizes oneself with the Hotel’s emergency procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
– Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
– Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
– Strong network of contacts within the Saudi Arabia region
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
