This role requires a great deal of accuracy, discretion and confidentiality as you will be supporting a senior board member of a global group of well-known brands. The senior is Dubai based, but travels often across the region and you will fully support him with all the logistics, and have constant interactions with those at a very high level of seniority within the organisation.
Representing a senior board member requires an EA with high levels of professionalism, EQ and self-motivation. As board meetings are held monthly, it is the responsibility of the EA to arrange a suitable venue and facilities, and also support those travelling in from overseas with their itinerary requirements whist in Dubai. This will include additional dinners and smaller round table discussions for all board members. In order to prepare for the meeting, you will be expected to finalise the agenda, collate financial information and business commentary via PowerPoint presentations and extensive excel reports. These should be highly visual and the use of animations, effects and graphs is encouraged. Post the board meeting you will ensure that any follow up actions are monitored and all deadlines are met as agreed.
As an experienced EA you should be able to prioritise the senior’s email inbox on his behalf, flagging up any urgent matters for his immediate response. You will have regular 1;1 meetings to ensure the week’s activity is discussed and the workflow is managed appropriately in order to meet highly critical deadlines.
Requirements:
Joining a fast-paced environment at this senior level, you should possess exceptional written communication. The successful candidate will have a near native fluency in English and strong skills with regards to written grammar. Utilising the complete MS office suite, you will be a highly responsive individual who is able to manage multiple deadlines and re-prioritise tasks on a daily basis.
