The Marketing & PR Manager must follow the direction of his / her immediate Supervisor and operate in accordance with the Company Policy.
Responsibilities:
Marketing:
– Develop and successfully implement the brand strategy & plans both locally and internationally
– Analyse market trends and identify business opportunities
– Define clear objectives, KPIs and manage delivery of all brand marketing plans/activities to achieve the agreed upon KPIs
– Formulate and control brand marketing budget
– Ensure clear understanding of brand and portfolio performance at all levels of the P&L, making clear recommendations of actions to grow the business profitably
– Continuously update and enhance company website
– Social Media Plan and Management: Instagram, LinkedIn, facebook etc.
– Print and radio advertising campaign strategy
– Development of all marketing material / collaterals, press media pack (photography, video etc), retail marketing
Public Relations:
– Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
– Coordinate all public relations activities
– Use social media plan to engage audiences across online platforms
– Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
– Manage media inquiries and interview requests
– Create content for press releases and keynote presentations
– Exhibition attendance calendar planning and execution
– Farm tour strategy (with partnerships)
– Chef outreach program (farm tours, restaurant collaborations, oysterbox events)
Events:
– Attendance at main industry events, with or without tasting stands
– Work with Oyster Box Manager to arrange participation at B2C and B2B events
– Other tasks deemed appropriate by the Manager.
Requirements:
Education:
BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
