We are seeking a proficient and motivated Electrical Technician with 4 years of experience in electrical fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of specialized aircraft ground support and handling equipment to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proven ability to perform thorough electrical maintenance and repairs, and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and quality.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled electrical servicing, defect diagnosis, dismantling, repair, and overhaul of major/minor assemblies.
• Test and maintain all electrical systems within the company’s fleet vehicles and aircraft ground support equipment, including standard vehicle D.C. electrical systems.
• Ensure the speedy and serviceable return of equipment to the user department.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring the work area is clean and tidy during and upon completion of work.
• Participate in the training of lower-graded electricians and apprentices.
• Comply with the company and airport authorities’ health, safety, and security regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualification & Requirements:
• Completion of 12 years of technical education plus 3 years of training in mechanical trades.
• 4 years of experience in a similar work field.
• Fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently according to well-defined procedures and specialized technical standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment (up to 20KGS) for approximately 90% of the work time.
• Willingness to work in a non-air-conditioned, covered workshop environment, and occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions.
